AccessAbility Solutions
AccessAbility Solutions is a personalized, in-home consultation focused on improving accessibility, safety, and ease of movement within the home. We help improve usage and flow. This applies whether we are assessing an existing home or reviewing plans for a remodel or new build.
During the visit, we walk through the home to spot safety hazards, mobility barriers, and areas that limit independence. You’ll get a detailed report with a clear, prioritized summary of recommendations. Our goal is to focus on the greatest positive change at the lowest possible cost.
CapAbility Solutions
CapAbility Solutions is a personalized, in-home consultation. It focuses on supporting an individual’s abilities to manage daily tasks with more ease and independence. We evaluate how routines like dressing, cooking, and hobbies are handled. Then, we suggest practical tools and strategies to enhance safety and ability.
During the visit, we discuss what’s working, where challenges arise, and what will make daily life feel more manageable. Afterward, you’ll get a clear and prioritized report. It includes suggestions tailored to your needs. These are designed to promote confidence, independence, and overall well-being.
Caregiver Solutions
Caregiver Solutions offers practical support for those helping a loved one – whether you’re nearby or managing care from afar. We suggest ways to improve routines and make the home safer and more supportive.
This consultation takes place by phone or video call – whatever works best for your needs. We’ll talk through daily routines, current challenges, and areas where support is most needed. Afterwards, you’ll get a summary of tailored recommendations to help you navigate your caregiver role with more clarity and confidence.

I started Optimal AccessAbility because I believe your home should make life easier, not harder. That belief comes from the personal experience of helping family members with mobility, vision, hearing, and memory challenges. I was also the primary caregiver for my father-in-law when he was bedridden. I saw how small things around the house can create big frustrations. Even minor issues, like a single step at the front door, can complicate daily life. Poor lighting in a hallway also contributes to these challenges. But I also saw how thoughtful changes can restore comfort, safety, and peace of mind. Before this work, I spent over 20 years in process engineering, helping large companies solve complex problems. Now, I use those same problem-solving skills to help people in real homes, with real challenges. I combine practical strategies with hands-on caregiver experience. I create spaces that support daily life. This approach allows people to live more comfortably, confidently, and independently.
